One can be eligible for this grant when the student completes and submits the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA). 

The student must be a US citizen and a non-citizen who is eligible to have no bachelor’s degree. The maximum amount given to any student at FSEOG is $4000 a year, and due to limited funding, this is not available to all students, so those who apply first are considered first.

3] Teacher Education Assistance For College And Higher Education Grant 

Well-known as TEACH, it is a program designed to address the shortage of qualified teachers in low-income and high-need fields. The US government provides this grant to students who are interested in pursuing careers in education. One who is enrolled in this program receives an amount of $4000 in TEACH grants up to a maximum of $16000 for undergraduate and postgraduate and $ 8000 for graduate. If someone fails to fulfill this teaching obligation, then this grant will be treated as a loan, and one have to pay this.

4] Federal Work-Study(FWS)

FWS is a campus-based program started by the US government that offers part-time employment to students who are pursuing graduate and postgraduate. The student fulfil their financial needs by working both on or off-campus to earn money and cover their education expense at the same time. It was established in the year 1965, and nowadays, there is an annual award amount of $3000-$4000 for undergraduates and $5000 for postgraduates.

5] State-Based Grants

In the US, apart from federal grants, there are grants that are given by state government to organisations, businesses, individuals, and students for various purposes such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc. Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG) is a student-based grant given to cover costs incurred in post-secondary education.
